Bone Thief: Thief of Bones: The Game

I made the first draft of this maybe six months ago? Anyway, it was a sort of messy pile of concept and nothing playable. I thought there was something fun in that concept so uh... here you go? A one page RPG where you get to steal things and get shot with a water gun until your character sheet melts.

Honestly, most of my energy at the minute is going towards games where they're meant to be played in person. Bone Thief is a sort of silly example of that. In GMed games (which I favour) even if I'm playing online I'll have a proper GM screen and physical dice - TTRPGs are such a wonderfully abstract thing, but I love exploring the ways in which they become grounded and material.

The other idea I'm playing with here (something which is also really driving my current more expansive projects) is the game played on two levels - on the one, you're playing a tabletop game where you're a Dairy Farmer with elastic bones trying to stop Dr. T. O. O. Thache from melting everyone's bones before you can steal them, and then simultaneously that's just a distraction from the real game which is trying to steal sticks from a pile while your friend tries to catch you and shoot you with a watergun. 

Anyway, I realize that this is a game possibly best played in the summer months and it is midwinter here (and absolutely freezing).
